Rupert Murdoch, the Global Energy Initiative, Mary Lynn Rajskub and saving the world with News Corp

Splendid news for all News Corp employees as April Earth Month picks up pace. Yes you too - and that means all you Tim Blair devotees out there - can join Rupert Murdoch in helping to save the planet. Start here at the global energy initiative.

It seems that on April 17th between 11 am and 2 pm the Fox lot is hosting an Earth Day fair, with exhibits from vendors showing their cool products and services to Fox employees and productions. There's a host of participating companies, and while three hours might seem not enough time to actually save the world from carbon madness, it's a definite start.

The pity is it's only for Fox employees and productions, but perhaps you could whip up a one liner as a way of getting a paragraph going so you can nail a full one pager, and then you can pitch it to Tim Blair and maybe get funding for a treatment, which will get you entree to the fair.

In the meantime, I've tried to help out as much as possible by posting a link to sweet Mary Lynn Rajskub from 24 explaining how you can join the News Corp campaign. You'll recollect that 24 is the first US hour long drama series to go carbon neutral, so that you can torture ticking clock terrorists in a thoroughly green way. Ain't it grand.
